You're reading this page because you run your own house cleaning business and are looking into investing in some maid service software.  As a former house cleaning business owner, I can tell you that you definately need your own house cleaning software - I simply couldn't run my business without it.

You've probably started off running your business by using a paper diary for appointments - and this is fine.  But when you have many many customers, and even employing cleaners or cleaning teams, then you'll soon find out that a piece of paper with your scribblings on is just not adequate.

It's time to start thinking about getting a more robust management computerised system in the form of maid service software.

v     Tracking your cleaning teams to see who is available for jobs

v     Create recurring cleaning jobs for individual customers

Payroll:

v     Interactive payroll for ease of payroll reports

Accounts:

v     Invoices

v     Statements

v     Customers’ payment history

Depending on the software you buy, the benefits above will vary.  However this gives you a good idea of what a maid service software can do for you.

Now I understand that you might be saying to yourself that you could keep a lot of that information in an excel spreadsheet or a database that you are familiar with.  You are right in thinking that, however with a computerised house cleaning software system, it will be all interactive and update customer records and diary appointments with a few clicks of your mouse button - how much time will that save you! 

You will not have to spend wasted time updating this spreadsheet, that database and that word table.  And some software systems have the payroll and accounts included interactively!
